I have been mulling this over for over a year now and finally I have finally started it. Today I am kicking it in to high gear and launching an interactive fitness website. I know there are a billion million fitness websites out there but I hope to seperate this one from the rest by basing it loosely on VeggieMacabre style humor and making it completely interactive. So far I have two private business and one corporate sponsor so I believe that will force my hand into taking it very seriously. On top of that I hope to include the various “who’s who” among the fitness celebrity circuit. I have to get a hold of the guy that juices everything.
Right now you can see the outline blog at MacabreFitness. Notice how I kept the macabre? I will see how well that is received. The website’s blog will be linked on VeggieM so while I build the actual site you can go there to see how the progress is going and check out the linked sponsors. I have the very best readers in the world and I hope they can add their stories to the site. Like I said, it will be interactive.
Holy crap that is SO exciting! π I laughed my face off at the tag-line for the site alone: “let’s throw up together!”, hahaha….I am definitely geared up for this fitness fun, and you bet your arse I’ll have some fitness anecdotes to share π ….”SO LET’S DO THIS!” (spoken in a commanding steroid-induced man-voice…also picture me with a bloated neck as I say that π )
I can’t wait to post your stories! They will be hilarious for sure. I am thinking about adding cheesy gym talk like “did you hear about the zoo?…..The pythons have escaped!” (while flexing)
So many places to go with this.
oO.
Not exactly a fitness nut, but am trying to get myself in shape- as I know I’ll need to be IN shape if I wanna make it to 80, and now is the tiem to begin to develop good habits.
So is this going to be a quasi-business venture? I mean, you’re going to have “sponsors” and everything…will you make any money?
Not enough to live on but there is hope for some revenue.
DUDE!
that is awesome. and i havent even checked it out yet. but i’m sure it’s awesome.
Good for you, Billy! I once went to the gym on Valentine’s Day. It was totally empty and I did not realize why until the meat head at the front desk asked if I was dateless…OK, this is depressing. I am going to go eat chocolate now π
Very cool. I spent a good chunk of work time yesterday reading the info off all of the links you have on this other blog. Too bad I actually have to do the things that were talked about to get in shape. If reading was the only requirement I’d be the fittest mofo out there!
I will check it out!
Like others, I so need/want to get into shape. I use “to busy” as an excuse all the time….
Oh, for the love of Pete….ANOTHER blog I gotta keep up on??? You’re killing me over here! No, just funnin’. Congrats, man. Nice to know you’re really getting stuff done. I hope this turns out to be lucrative.
I just found out that the university gym here that I used to go to when I was in school is now open to non-students for a fairly low price a month. I’ve been looking for a place to go that wasn’t too expensive, so I might check it out. If I could just get in at least 3 times a week I would feel a lot better, but I would like to go more than that. I did Tae Kwon Do for 5 years and miss it to death. I used to be in really great shape when I was doing that, but I’m starting to get a little bit of a gut, and we just can’t have that.
No we cant.
