For A Limited Time Only!

I needed to start something on here with a more congruent theme or at least a side project. I know I have “Where Did You Go” but over the years I think just about fifty online news sites have copied and pasted nearly all of it and I get a little tired of doing the work for them. Especially the Huffington Post which is written on a third grade level and use misleading titles to trick people into reading an article about Kanye West in hopes he died by having is wiener caught in a vacuum at the bottom of his pool. So, while I will continue the fun posts about past celebrities, I think I need to develop another page and invite others in the fun.

“For A Limited Time Only” is the page dedicated to shedding light on what’s available for a fleeting moment in our busy bee lives. Maybe it will return next year or maybe it will be a discussion twenty years from now like how Crystal Pepsi tasted like soapy piss but we bought it anyway because Van Halen told us to. Either way, you can find it here.

Alright, one last thing. I want to open this page to awesome readers like you. I am stuck on a pretty strict diet of high protein and low carb in preparation for the 2014 trail race season so I probably won’t try the four patty burger donut with special sauce but if you do, feel free to drop me an email and I’ll post your article right here! I’ll tweet the hell out of it and before you know it, you’ll be on the road to food stardom. You never know.

This idea is something Brian over at Review the World  and I have been batting around and I think this is a good time to kick it off. I know if you have been here long enough you have visited his spot and it’s no surprise we collaborate quite often. He’s an awesome guy with a great talent for reviews and videos.

Thanks and tweet me over at Veggiemacabre if you have any suggestions or know of a limited time offer out there that might be fun to write about!

Review the World Takes On Some Heat

This was a very happy moment for me in my many years as a blogger and new webmaster. I can’t tell you how awesome it is to connect as a long time fan of a page and see that you are somehow apart of it. And oddly enough hurt the members that I spend several hours of web-observance watching. Brain, I mean Brian, is the creator of Review the World TV, Go!, The BroCave, and other such entertaining web-programs all viewed on Review the World.com. If you have been here before, you know about this very site. Over the past year we have worked on a couple things very loosely but not until recently have we really been able to connect and bring you the joint amazing-ness of….

A collective RtW star cast: Hot Sauce Challenge! Watch and be amazed.

Thanks for letting me be a part of this, Brian. Thank you to Tim, Paul, Jessie, Steve and Adam. You guys rocked this and I can’t wait for another fun review to come.

Finally! Right?

Remember that review I promised for Veggiemacabre.TV about a month ago? Well here it is. This is the first Hot Sauce review challenge in collaboration with Review the World. I know it isn’t the most exciting review but we did sacrifice our mouth and stomach lining so BACK OFF! Sorry. Well, look for major changes over at Veggiemacabre.tv thanks to this new kick off review. And check out my boy Brian’s site over at RtW.

The Beginning

I think it is safe to say that this is a new beginning for VeggieMacabre and I am pretty darn excited about it. I have been threatening to do this for a while and even though there have been a few new things like videos and talk of audio commentary, there hasn’t been anything quite like today. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you a new factotum of mindless entertainment and hopefully fun….VeggieMacabre.tv.

Well there she is folks. And while there still is much to be done, the gist has been gist-ed. You will notice familiar music, pictures and people but over the next few weeks I am really going to make an earnest effort to make this a whole new experience with videos and articles much like Matt over at X-entertainment is known for. I will keep it lighthearted and fun. Here is a list of what is to come:

  • Another beer review season
  • Joint articles and vlogs from Review the World
  • Starting in September Halloween posts for each day of the season
  • Travel videos
  • Zog’s the bar updates and music shows
  • Cooking with fire
  • Starting mid-November the Christmas Holiday daily posts
  • Expanded “Where Did You Go?” posts with (gasp) a few lined up interviews

This is just a few of the things on the current drawing board so feel free to request something that might be fun to do! I will keep you posted on what else is happening on the site but until then, just click the “update” picture on the home page for what is new.

ONE LOVE!
